Youth Workers Give Back

Once again, we here at YS have been brainstorming ways to give back to the communities we visit for NYWC. This year, YS is working with food banks in each of the cities and now we are asking you to partner with us to give back to those in need in Sacramento, Pittsburgh & Nashville. In each city we are asking for donations of socks (adult & children's) and peanut butter or canned meat (tuna, chicken, etc).

Here's where you come in. We are encouraging each attendee to bring some socks and a canned food (peanut butter or meat). Bring your donations with you to the opening General Session and they will be collected as part of that time.

Here's a list of what we are collecting in each city:

Sacramento

Pittsburgh

We have partnered with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to reach out to those in need in Pittsburgh. To help please bring donations of the following to convention: Peanut Butter Canned Meats Socks – for adults or children

Nashville

We have partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank to reach out to those in need in the Nashville area. To help please bring donations of the following to convention: Peanut Butter Canned Meats Socks – for adults or children
