BIOGRAPHY
Sarah Sumner
Dr. Sumner is special assistant to the Dean for Strategic Development and Professor of Theology and Ministry in Haggard Graduate School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University. She also serves as a regular teaching pastor at New Song Church and an Aerobics Instructor at Bally Total Fitness. She travels nationally as both a speaker and a consultant. The first woman to earn a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School her books include, Men and Women in the Church: Building Consensus on Christian Leadership, Leadership Above the Line, and Just How Married Do You Want to Be?. Married to her husband Jim, they are in the process of adopting a little girl from India.
